About:

Leena moved to Aberystwyth for university in 2016 and has since finished with a degree in Computer Science. She has been active in the Welsh party since joining, sitting on most committees as the Welsh Party Diversity officer, and has been a candidate for Westminster (though stood down due to Unite to Remain) and Senedd elections. She is proud to have campaigned across the UK with the Liberal Democrats and has her heart in rural Welsh affairs and minority languages as well as building a better and fairer society for everyone. She is the Chair of Cymdeithas yr Iaith Gymraeg's Grŵp Hawl as well as a Trustee of the Institute of Welsh Affairs. Beyond politics, Leena loves music, poetry, swimming, and coding.

Symudodd Leena i Aberystwyth ar gyfer prifysgol yn 2016 ac ers hynny mae wedi gorffen gyda gradd mewn Cyfrifiadureg. Mae hi wedi bod yn weithgar yn y blaid Gymreig ers ymuno, gan eistedd ar y mwyafrif o bwyllgorau fel swyddog Amrywiaeth Plaid Cymru ac mae wedi bod yn ymgeisydd ar gyfer San Steffan (er sefyll i lawr oherwydd etholiadau Unite to Remain) a Senedd. Mae'n falch ei bod wedi ymgyrchu ledled y DU gyda'r Democratiaid Rhyddfrydol ac mae ganddi ei chalon ym materion gwledig Cymru ac ieithoedd lleiafrifol yn ogystal ag adeiladu cymdeithas well a thecach i bawb. Hi yw Cadeirydd Grŵp Hawl Gymraeg Cymdeithas yr Iaith yn ogystal ag Ymddiriedolwr Sefydliad Materion Cymru. Y tu hwnt i wleidyddiaeth, mae Leena wrth ei bodd â cherddoriaeth, barddoniaeth, nofio a chodio.

Role in RhI Cymru: Responsible for organising campaigns for the organisation, crucially the annual Fresher's Fayre campaign in collaboration with local branches. They are also responsible for supporting members running for local, Senedd, or UK parliamentary elections. This is a jobshare with Glyn Preston.
