A recent survey showed that students suffer more with anxiety than the general population, and that for many, the pandemic has made their conditions worse.
With the previous Welsh Government pledging an extra £9.4m investment in youth mental health services, they must put plans in place to support our students and put a clear strategy in place to give mental health parity with physical health.
We wouldn’t accept a 40 week wait to deal with a broken leg. It’s high time for parity between mental and physical health.
